How to get the life you want by helping those who have it.
Best-selling author of You Can Just Do Things
Available first on Kickstarter · backing open through September 20, 2026.

“What if the fastest way to get the life you want is to help someone who already has it?”
Everyone knows it's not what you know, it's who you know. What no one teaches is the how.
How do you break into powerful circles? How do you get on the radar of people who get pitched all day and have their guard up? How do you build relationships with the people you admire?
When I started, there were no books on this. So I figured it out the hard way, through trial and error, and what I learned became this book.
This is for you if you know you're capable of more but haven't figured out how to create the opportunities. Every door I've walked through opened the same way: I found someone doing work I wanted to be doing, figured out what they needed, and did it before they asked.
From a kid with one AirPod in
to Acquisition.com.
Started writing online and looking for a way in.
Cold-emailed my favorite company and landed an internship at a fast-growing tech startup, beehiiv.
Put together a 19-slide pitch deck for Noah Kagan and became his Head of Content.
Ran a ghostwriting agency for 7- and 8-figure founders while still in college.
Dropped out to join Alex & Leila Hormozi's media team at Acquisition.com.
This is my cookbook for creating opportunities. It took me half a decade to learn these tactics. It'll take you two hours.
Read before anyone else.
“I recommend Jay's first book so often, I keep it on my desk at all times. This book will be right next to it. The value-to-word ratio is insane. Equal parts insightful, quotable, and tactical. It feels like you're sitting down with Jay at a cafe, having a deep conversation with a friend.”

“This gave me goosebumps. It's fantastic… this book is going to change lives in a big way.”

“I keep reading it, journaling, then going for walks. I've done that a few times today. It's so good. This is going to impact so many people.”

Three parts. One system.

No book gets stuck in a garage.
Back a Classroom or a School tier and keep as many copies as you want, for yourself, your team, or your friends.
The rest, we distribute to students on your behalf: high schools, colleges, entrepreneurship clubs, and young people who can't afford a copy.
Every copy finds a reader.
Five years from now, I won't measure this by copies sold. I'll measure it by how many people read it and had a belief shift.
I still remember being 15, in the back of class with one AirPod in, listening to business podcasts and dreaming about a life I wasn't sure I'd ever get. The only reason I'm here is that a few people took a chance on me before I'd done anything to earn it. This book is me trying to do that for the next person.

Get in early.
It's live first on Kickstarter, and you're only charged if the project hits its goal by September 20, 2026.
